Nancy Giacumbo, a Partner with the firm, practices in the areas of complex toxic torts, environmental, insurance defense, product liability, construction defects, and subrogation.
Upon graduating law school, she had the distinction of serving as Law Clerk to the Honorable Reginald Stanton, A.J.S.C., during his last year as the General Equity Judge of the Morris and Sussex County Vicinage.
Throughout Nancy’s career in private practice and as Trial Counsel with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, she has defended a wide variety of complex toxic torts, environmental, general negligence, product liability, and construction defect cases. Her environmental litigation experience includes governmental and civil actions pursuant to N.J. Spill Compensation and Control Act, N.J. Water Pollution Act, NJ Air Pollution Act, Underground Storage Tank Act, and CERCLA for contribution, and natural resource damages; cost recovery for site investigation and remediation of contaminated groundwater, potable water, and soil; nuisance, trespass, property damage, and bodily injury; air, water, and noise pollution; discharge of hazardous materials and waste; exposure to toxic fumes and substances such as asbestos, benzene, and silica; and leaking commercial and residential above ground and underground fuel storage tanks. She has also successfully prosecuted large property loss subrogation claims for insurers.

On June 28, 2011, Nancy was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a member of its Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law, where she served through December 31, 2025, based solely on term limits. She was Vice-Chair of the Committee and on December 5, 2023, she was appointed (and re-appointed) by Chief Justice Stuart Rabner to serve as Chair of the Committee until December 31, 2025. As Chair of the UPL Committee, she was also a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Professional Responsibility Rules Committee.

She has served as a civil case Arbitrator in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris County, and has taught Business Law at Rutgers University School of Business. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and was a founding member of its Animal Law Committee.

In May 2026, Nancy was appointed by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Kinnelon, New Jersey to serve as a member of its Historical Preservation Advisory Committee.
