Erin Brueche, a Partner with the firm, manages the firm’s Family and Matrimonial practice group.
Erin has been designated by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Matrimonial Attorney and is recognized as a family law expert. She has dedicated her entire legal career to the practice of family and matrimonial law. She represents clients in all aspects of divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, the division of assets, domestic violence, prenuptial agreements, and all related issues. Erin prides herself on her ability to assist clients to navigate the divorce process while being sensitive to the emotions that accompany this practice area. She is an aggressive advocate when necessary and provides alternatives to litigation when appropriate. She understands that every family is different and customizes her legal strategy based on each client’s specific goal. As a mother, she understands the importance of preserving co-parenting relationships and above all, putting the best interests of children first.
Erin is a graduate of Penn State University and Wake Forest School of Law. Following her graduation from law school, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas H. Dilts (Retired), former presiding Judge of the Somerset County Family Part.
She is an active participant in the legal community. She serves as an expert panelist in the Somerset County Early Settlement program. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Family Law Section, the Somerset County Bar Association, the Hunterdon County Bar Association, and the Middlesex County Inns of Court. She is a frequent lecturer and speaker, has been quoted in Divorce Magazine, and has been interviewed on several television shows as a family law expert.
Erin resides in Somerset County, New Jersey, with her husband and two children.
