JMS partner, Timothy Lyons, has been re-certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, an honor bestowed on less than 1% of the attorneys in New Jersey. Certification is granted by the Supreme Court only to trial attorneys who are capable of displaying an advanced level of knowledge, requisite trial experience, and well-honed advocacy skills.
Timothy Lyons, a Partner with the firm and Co-Chair of the Business Litigation Department, has vast experience in general civil litigation, with an emphasis on business and commercial disputes venued in both the state and federal courts of New Jersey. His practice includes the prosecution of civil trials and appeals, administrative hearings, arbitrations, and representation through other select alternative dispute resolution programs to serve his clients’ needs.
Certification is limited to a five (5) year term subject to renewal, for additional five (5) year terms, pursuant to the discretion and supervision of the Supreme Court. Tim has continued as a certified trial attorney since his initial certification in 2005. His practice is dedicated to business litigation matters with a focus on intra-company disputes and “business divorce ” actions.
